Impossibly Gay Triangle
Impossible triangle. Gay geometric realness. Impossibly Gay.
This artwork is a combination of the impossible triangle aka penrose triangle which is a geometric illusion originally created by Oscar Reutersvärd in 1934, the original pride flag and the gay pink triangle which is now a symbol of LGBTQ+ pride and protest against homophobia. The gay pink triangle was previously used in Nazi Germany in the 1930s and 1940s to mark homosexual men, bisexual men and transgender women.
